Nathan's sister was married in early March. She had asked Joselyn to be her flowergirl - a job she was made for! :) The morning of the wedding, Joselyn was in her element...a princess dress, hair in curls and a basket full of beautiful flower petals. Just before the wedding, she was in the front of the church twirling. She busts out with "I am the princess of love." It didn't end there - she still insists that she is the Princess of Love. That's my girl!

What More?
Isn't funny how you always do the projects that you have intended to do for a long time the moment you put your house on the market? We have our home up for sale and in the past couple of weeks we have patched a spot in the living room ceiling, repainted the ceiling, put up new blinds in the kitchen and painted the basement. Now that we have all that done, why move? HA HA
Open House
Everyone pray for us - we have an open house tomorrow. Please pray that we have beautiful weather and that we get many people through (well, at least the right buyer). Thank you all in advance for your prayers!

Who Did?!
We have a Patch the Pirate CD that the kids enjoy listening to in the car. One of the songs on the CD is Who Did? It goes a little something like this, Who did? Who did? Who did? Who did? Who did swallow Jo Jo Jo? Who did? Who did? Who did? Who did? Who did swallow Jo Jo Jo? Who did swallow Jonah? Who did swallow Jonah? Who did swallow Jonah down?
Okay, so now that we have the history, here is my funny story - Nathan was in the nursery with the kids. Joselyn asked him to read a book - Jonah. When he was finished reading the book to the kids, Joselyn asked "Daddy, what was the whale's name that swallowed Jonah?" Nathan made up something genius like "I think his name was whaley." To which Joselyn replied, "No Daddy, his name is Who Did."

Easter
In all the craziness of the world, I think it's good to have a day set aside to remember what Christ did for me (for us). Thank you Jesus.

From the Mouths of Babes
It was Saturday night and we were sitting around the table eating dinner when Joselyn looks over at Nathan and says "Dad, you're a genius." Where that came from ,no one knows. That kid cracks me up.

Fun Stuff
I always try to come up with new and fun ways to keep the kids occupied (especially during the winter months). I picked up some finger paints a couple of weeks ago...Joselyn is addicted! :) She LOVES to paint. By the end of the month, I am sure everyone in the greater Grand Rapids area with be proudly displaying her artwork on their refrigerators. LOL
Easter Egg Hunt
The kids were supposed to have an Easter egg hunt this morning at our neighbor's church. Thanks to this wonderful spring snow, the activities had to be moved indoors. The kids had a great time. They kept them entertained with donuts and juice, magic show, bags of Easter eggs stuffed with goodies, balloons and prize stations. Here is some of the fun we had...
